Become an Aviation Professional

As the world gets smaller, understanding diverse cultures is quickly becoming the skill of the global marketplace. The World Cultural Studies program fosters understanding of different cultural groups and provides insight into the most pressing global issues of our time. You’ll learn Chinese cultural fluency—being able to assess the cultural environment, identify potential conflicts, and come up with ways to avoid errors.

    Many scholarships are available for OU Extended Campus students. Scholarship award amounts vary from $300 - $1,500 per semester.

  • Institutional Accreditation

    The University of Oklahoma is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The Higher Learning Commission is one of six regional accrediting agencies in the United States. Institutional accreditation evaluates an entire institution and accredits it as a whole. Other agencies provide accreditation for specific programs. Accreditation is voluntary. The Commission is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
